The House @ 835 Pasco

At the corner of Pasco and Independencia lies a beautiful home historic in age and priceless in memories....upon entering the front doors of this 19th century 3 level home you feel nothing but comfort and want it might be to be Argentinan for the time of your stay! Alone, the front entrance is littered with woods and marbles, as can be seen in the pictures above. The stair well of more than 25 steps leads to the main living room that host the first two bedrooms and start of the main corridor to the rest of the home.

As can be seen in the photos above, the living room is quiet spacious with 13 ft ceilings and a custom ventage floor. The 13ft ceilings are typical throught the house and offer a calm ambiance to the rather noisy city, a feeling of space, comfort and history comes upon you while listening to tango music or watching lessons in the informal "Tango Room". The livingroom also host Broadband internet and a small, but effective TV...but anyone that stays inside in a city that is as vibrate as Buenos Aires needs not to be in Buenos Aires!

known informally as the Tango Room, this 2 bedroom space opts for a dance floor or sleeping quarters; offering a nice, tranquil but historic feel to your stay brought by the 13ft ceilings and hardwood floors throughout the house!

The main corridor that connects the living room to the rest of the house offers a nice walk to the remaining 2 bedrooms, the 2 remodeled bathrooms and kithcen. The corridor as been fitted, many years ago, with some old ventage tiles; accentuating the already old, antique and rustic feel that has been preserved for ages....

From the bathrooms and kitchen, a stairway can be found that leads you to the 6th bedroom, a small, nice private place and above a terrance that rivals the size of the first; looming over-head. Again, as you can see...the trip to the terrace is well worth the small climb...its a beautiful view anyway you cut it! The parrilla (texas style grille) is large enough to host a 20 person party along with a few stranglers (vagos)...the sun shines from about 12:00pm to 4:00pm, perfect to catch a tan almost all year around.

Just a couple of views from the terrace area above! The photos that show the terrace walls painted white are the pics before I had a painter paint murals on all sides of the terrace. Just to say it, it really did turn out great! Below are a couple of pics from the Balcony facing Pasco, just before you reach Independencia....
